Layout 3 from Camp Scrap. This time I used some older (not terribly good!) photos from our trip to Qld in 2002 - we basically only went to the theme parks!

I have joined Camp Scrap at Big Picture Scrapbooking! After doing so well in Bakers Dozen, I thought I would try and keep the momentum going! It is a 4 week class, with 5 sketches per week. Here is the first 2, I am really happy with the class so far, and the fact that they use mainly 4x6 photos is a bonus!

Layout 13 (the last!) for BPS Bakers Dozen Class. This one used a single photo, and embellishments 3 x 3" squares of patterned paper, 3 co-ordinating brads, and the initial of the person in the photo. This was a nice easy layout to do, and I used co-ordinating paper line to make it even easier.

Bakers Dozen Layout 12. This layout asked for envelope #2 (3 doing photos) and embellisments #6 (flowers - but I had put in the stickers from the Red Cross Blood Bank instead).

Monday, June 21, 2010

The next Bakers Dozen Layout (only 2 to go!). This one asked for embellishments #2 (flowers & buttons - as I didnt have buttons I had punched some circles), and envelope #9. But as I had photos from my daughters 21st on the weekend, I have left envelope 9 and used a photo of my 3 girls dressed for the party. The theme was to dress up as a character or wear something from the past. Laura was Marilyn Monroe, Cindy a hippy, and Belinda had a Cookie Monster t-shirt.
Bakers Dozen Layout 10. This time using envelope #8 (horizontal & vertical photo of an immediate family member), and embellishments #3 (brads - 5 white & 5 of another colour).

Team Up Thursday Diptych - this week the theme was chaos. Not sure if my photo is really chaos or just mess - everyone using the dining table at once! It is understandable really, as it isnt very often that we are all home together anymore. Why so much mess though? But I cant complain too much - if you have ever seen my scraproom desk you will know why!! Roses pic on the right - I love it, I remember those days!

Bakers Dozen Layout 9. This time to use envelope #1 (3 photos of someone we love), and embellishments #5 (ribbon). I have made S- for Smile for Cindy's A-Z album.

'L' is for - Love to create art. The next layout in the Bakers Dozen class. This time using envelope #4(three photos of someone we love) and embellishments # 1 (buttons).

Saturday, June 12, 2010

Just for fun I tried a 12 on the 12th theme. 12 photos of what is around me/going on on the 12th of this month!

1. New mug from the 'biggest morning tea' fundraiser.
2. iPod playing songs from Glee.3. Flowers given to Laura for her 21st.
4. Laura's overnight (dance) bag. 5. New book, 'The short second life of Bree Tanner', part of the Twilight series.
6. All the girls home for the long weekend. 7. Home made vegetable rissotto cakes.

8. My angel perfume - laura had it refilled for me.
9. Laura destroying her P plates, as of today she is on her full license.
10. Afternoon tea at Kokopellis.

11.Create art day at The Arts Company with friends.
12. The Arts Company Building.
Yep, another Bakers Dozen layout. This time using envelope #11 (9 photos of favourite places) and embellishments # 12 (jewels). I had put in photos of Cindy and Brindle, so have made this for the 'D - for dog' page for Cindy's album.

Team up thursday diptychs! The theme is MIRROR. Mine on the left and Rose
on the right. Love the old world feel of these together, and the serious face in the reflection, just perfect! Next weeks theme is Chaos - although I feel it all the time, photographing it could be another story, not very confident about this one!

Bakers Dozen Class - these layouts have been so quick and fun! This time we used envelope #7 (4 photos of a vacation or season highlights, & 1 sheet patterned paper), and embellishments #4 (6 tags, and 6 brads). I have made Cindy's Q for queensland holidays page. I also finished another page for Cindy's A-Z album, this time using a design from Cathy Z's Design your Life class. F - for farm.

Sunday, June 6, 2010

O is for Overseas. -for Cindy's a-Z album.

Bakers Dozen class. Use envelope 12 (a photo of friends), and embellishments 7 (white ribbon & a patterned paper).

Saturday, June 5, 2010

Bakers Dozen Layout #3. Use envelope 13 (family photo), and embellishments 12 (receipt out of your purse & a white flower). As I didn't have a family photo I had put in the photo I had taken of our feet a little while ago, and the only receipt I had had at the time was for petrol.
With this class you don't know which embellishments are going with which photo/s. Mine didn't really work with this one, so I added in a recent photo (for my Project Life) of my car at the petrol station, and did a layout about how at the moment, with visiting Cindy in Adelaide, Laura in Warnambool, & how I just took Belinda to Ballarat for a VCE lecture, that we hardly ever walk anymore, and how we always seem to be in the car.

The class actually asked for a layout of what we buy and why. Most students having a family photo and grocery or Target type reciept. As laura and cindy will both be home next weekend, I will try and get a family photo and a grocery reciept and do another layout!

Thursday, June 3, 2010

B is for Baby. My next page for Cindy's A-Z Album! This design is from Cathy Z's DYL Class.
I now have done 11 pages for her album - getting there!

Wednesday, June 2, 2010

The next 'Bakers Dozen' layout. We were to use envelope Number 5 ( a photo of child with parent or grandparent, and a piece of patterned paper), and embellishments Number 11 (ribbon, chipboard heart & paper clip). I have turned the sketch into a double layout (and added the shaped paper & extra photos), to use for Cindy's M page for her A-Z Album.

Thursday already! Here is the next 'Team Up Thursday' Diptych with Rose's photo on the top - I love the colours and lines on this photo, and the great boards behind the sign, I can see why it stood out to Rose. I didn't do so well, no sign presented itself to me anywhere I went this week (and I just didn't seem to find time to get out and look!), so I have taken a photo of a poster, - sort of a sign?? The poster is from Ali Edwards 'Life Artist' book. See more great diptychs at the flickr pool.

My first layout for BPS 'Bakers Dozen' Class. We grabbed Envelope 6 (4 photos of someone we loved), and embellishments 10 (tags, brads & ric rac). The sketch was provided, so it was a very quick & easy layout to do. This will be the 'C' - Childhood page for Cindy's A-Z Album.
